Summary

The purpose of this invitation is to request pricing for products to stabilize geohazards. For the purpose of this contract, geohazards are considered to be shallow landslides and unstable rock slopes.

This invitation pertains to landslides with a maximum length of 125 feet (parallel to the roadway) and an estimated maximum failure depth of 5 feet. Items include Launched Soil Nails™, Drilled Soil Nails, Self Drilling Soil Nails, Plate Piles™, and Drilled Shafts.

This invitation also pertains to the stabilization of rockfall source zones with a maximum surface area of 10,000 SF. Items include pricing for Scaling and Trim Blasting.

Additional applicable items include excavation, grading, supplying and placing dump rock, and loading, hauling and wasting excess soil and rock.
