NO RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS IS REQUIRED
The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Southeast Area has a construction requirement for a detailed assessment, insulation, sealing of building cracks and gaps near installed HVAC systems and windows, and ensuring proper ventilation at the Subtropical Horticultural Research Station located in Miami, Florida; Miami-Dade County.
In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
Pursuant to FAR Part 13, the Request for Quotation (RFQ) 12405B25Q0012 is anticipated to be issued on or around November 22, 2024; quotes will be due on or around January 9, 2025. It is anticipated the requirement will be 100% Total Set-Aside for small business under the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors with a small business standard of $19 million.
An organized site visit is being scheduled during the month December; this date is subject to change to a later date in 2025. Details of the site visit will be included in the solicitation.
