Description


The Wilkes County Board of Education is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to provide ATHLETIC FIELD MAINTENANCE for Tiger Stadium Football Field; Football/Soccer Practice Field; Baseball Field; and Softball Field located on the Washington-Wilkes Middle/High School campus will be received by the Wilkes County Board of Education (the Owner), located at 313-A North Alexander Avenue, Washington, Georgia 30673, until 12:00 p.m. local time on Friday, March 6, 2026, for all costs and services necessary to provide ATHLETIC FIELD MAINTENANCE.

Proposals submitted after the date and time noted above will not be accepted. Contractors shall have until 4:00 p.m. on February 20, 2026, to submit written questions or inquiries.

All inquiries for information shall be directed in writing to Elizabeth Bohler, Director of School Operations, Wilkes County Board of Education, 313-A North Alexander Avenue, Washington, Georgia 30673, or via email at bohlere@wilkes.k12.ga.us.

A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held at the Wilkes County Board of Education, 313-A North Alexander Avenue, Washington, Georgia 30673, on February 13, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. local time. Attendance is required for proposal consideration.

The contract, if awarded, will be for a period of one (1) year, with the Wilkes County Board of Education having the option of annual renewals for up to two (2) additional years, contingent upon satisfactory performance and availability of funds. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities and informalities.
