Premise wiring is the network of interior and exterior wiring, cables, connectors, and accessories within a building used to connect power, lighting, telecommunications, and data equipment throughout the premises.
Columbus AFB has a requirement for the Contractor to 1) remove current wiring being replaced, and 2) furnish, install, and test the upgrade of wiring infrastructure to Plenum-rated Cat-6 for two buildings (Buildings 1114 and 348). Building 1114 requires installation of 74 cable jacks (33 duplex and 2 quad drops) and Building 348 requires 49 cable jacks (24 duplex drop and 1 wall) in accordance with the Statement of Work. Quotes should include a list of proposed materials with quantities.
