Sealed bids for the construction of

2024 Roofing - Gymnasium
Crystal Springs Middle School
Copiah County Public Schools
will be received by the Board of Trustees for the Copiah County Public Schools at the office of Rickey Clopton, Copiah County Superintendent of Education, Copiah County Public Schools Administrative Office Building, 254 West Gallatin  Street, Hazlehurst, Mississippi until 10:00 a.m., November 7, 2024 and thereafter opened and publicly read.  One contract will include all work.

Bids shall be submitted on the form furnished by the Architect and must be accompanied by Bid Bond or certified check for at least five percent (5%) of the base bid payable to the Copiah County Public Schools.  No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after the actual date of the bid opening.

All bids must comply with applicable state laws of the State of Mississippi and shall include Contractor's Certificate of Responsibility Number.  A performance and payment bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum will be required of the successful bidder.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any and/or all formalities or to reject any and/or all bids submitted.

Contract Documents may be obtained at the office of Carl Freiler Nobles Architect, 1002 Nobles Lane, Hazlehurst, Mississippi 39083 upon receipt of $50.00 deposit.  Refund of deposit will be made as stated in the Contract Documents, Instructions to Bidders.
