Notice of Intent to Sole Source Requirement

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office 1, Regional Procurement Office East intends to negotiate a sole source contract for 6515 - Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies in accordance with FAR13.106-1(b). Description of Supplies:
SUPPLY: The Contracting Activity is looking to acquire delivery and implementation of (1) VitalEEG Wireless Electroencephalogram Headset. Jamaica Plain VA Medical Center s Neurology team, in coordination with the TeleEEG (Electroencephalogram) program, has a need to collect rapid EEGs using a low channel-count, wireless EEG headset. The location of the service will be at the Jamaica Plain Veterans Affairs Medical Center 150 S. Huntington Avenue Jamaica Plain, MA 02130-4817.
It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers.
Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT 10:00 AM EST on 09/11/2025.
