Hull Street Streetscape

The City of Richmond is soliciting bids for the Hull St. Streetscape project to reconstruct the streetscape along Hull St. from the Mayo Bridge to 9th St. The work will include, but may not be limited to, sidewalk construction, curb ramps, street trees and low plantings, street furnishings, minor intersection reconfiguration, installation of new traffic signals, pedestrian safety enhancements, signage, pavement markings, minor drainage improvements, ITS, and lighting improvements.

The project was designed to improve pedestrian safety along Hull Street between the Mayo Bridge and 9th Street. Improvements will address needs related to vehicle congestion, transit amenities, missing pedestrian infrastructure, and lacking street trees. The project will enhance safety, mobility, and appeal of the built environment to foster further economic growth along the corridor during its redevelopment.
