The DNR requests proposals to assist with forest resource assessment, forest modeling metric design, decision-support and technical scoping for the upcoming 10-year forest planning and modeling process, pertaining to DNR-administered forest lands in the management pool for sustainable forest management. The objective of the project is that DNR staff and leadership has access to the best available information about forest resources management planning and modeling, including expertise about translating non-timber values into feasible and utility-focused modeling work, or other methods of integrating these into planning, where appropriate.
