The 97 CES at Altus AFB, OK 73523 requires the installation of a new VWVE Oil Recloser for the electrical substation and all parts/materials necessary to repair the current malfunctioning equipment.
The 97th Contracting Squadron intends to make award to WFCE (CAGE: 0CUB3), due to only one source being capable of providing the equipment and specialty training required for replacing the VWVE Oil Recloser.
The proposed contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement.
Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes technical data and cost information, sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement. Requests for documentation, additional information, or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response.
A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a single source procurement.
Capability statements are due on 18 September 2025 by 12:00pm CST. Capability statements shall be submitted by email ONLY as a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF attachment to maxwell.guercia@us.af.mil and kevin.pillow@us.af.mil. Capability statements and supporting documentation provided after the due date listed above will not be reviewed.
