DLA Aviation intends to issue a request for quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR 13.5. This is notice of the Government’s intent to issue a firm-fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. The award shall be based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria.
Description of requirements: One (1) five (5)-axis Vertical Machine Machining Center Haas Model UMC-1000SS in accordance with Technical Specification VIBB 24-13-1300 dated 01 August 2025. Performance period/completion 112 days after receipt of order.
FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. Destination is Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Newport Division, Rhode Island, USA. The complete technical data package VIBB 24-13-1300 including machine, training, technical data, IUID tag, tooling, rigging, and shipping requirements will be included as a part of the solicitation.
