Invitation for Bid (IFB) 03A3962 Multiple Provider, Identify, Evaluate, and Remove Hazardous Waste (Various Northern California Counties)

Contractor shall provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) all labor, tools, materials, equipment, parts, travel, and incidentals necessary to provide emergency and routine identification and removal of hazardous waste and materials, including but not limited to, underground storage tanks, containers, drums, and similar items (collectively, ¿hazardous waste and materials¿), discovered within the limits of the State right of way during the term of this Agreement, as described herein. The scope of work specifically does not include identification and removal of hazardous waste and materials caused by or generated at vehicular collisions, accidents, and highway spills.

The services shall be performed at various locations in the following Caltrans Districts and Counties:
A. District 1: Del Norte, Humboldt, Mendocino, and Lake Counties
B. District 2: Lassen, Modoc, Plumas, Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama, and Trinity Counties
C. District 3: Butte, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Sierra, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba Counties

This is an on-call multiple-provider solicitation for emergency hazardous waste cleanup services. Two (2) contractors may be awarded an Agreement as a result of this solicitation.
