F-35 Lightning Mast for Ebbing ANGB

The contract action resulting from this requirement will procure an additional lighting protection system in support of the F-35 sustainment at Ebbing ANGB, AR. The system that will be procured is Part ID: PLP-38PK-MOB (02) Rev: 0, Lightning Mast Assembly from LBA Technology, Inc. (UEI: FC71CVNACCT3). It is a 38' roll away tooless assembly. This product is a commercial off-the-shelf item that is also utilized by other military branches for their F-35 aircraft.

The PLP-38PK-MOB (02) has several patents that not only make it unique, but the only available option to meet the requirements of the F-35 JSF program. Some unique features of the PLP-38PK-MOB (02) include: no tool assembly, reduced foreign object debris, foldable and roll-away features, and mobile - re-deployable man-pack kits.
