Project Description: PERKASIE REGIONAL AUTHORITY WELL 4 TREATMENT CENTER CONTRACT NO. PRA 24-01
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all prospective bidders that the PERKASIE REGIONAL AUTHORITY will receive bids for the following project: PRA 24-01 WELL 4 TREATMENT CENTER. Sealed bids shall be submitted and updated online via the PennBid Program until 1:00 PM EST on January 24th, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. All documents and solicitation details are available any time at no cost at PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/).
Contract PRA 24-01 includes the installation of a new GAC filtration system at the location of PRA Well #4, TMP 12-009-009. Contractor shall be responsible for providing all necessary erosion and sedimentation controls and will involve the restoration of roadway and lawn areas.
A highly recommended pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM, local time January 8th, 2025, at the Perkasie Regional Authority Office Building. During this meeting, Bidders will be taken to the site.
Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
The Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
All prospective bidders are hereby notified that the Contract will require contractors and subcontractors to comply with certain federal and state statutory and regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to, the following:
• Compliance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates. The project requires all prime contractors and subcontractors to pay all laborers and mechanics employed on the Project wages at rates not less than those prevailing on projects of a character similar in the locality;
• Non-Discrimination. The Project requires all prime contractors and subcontractors to agree not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religious creed, age, handicap, disability, or gender;
Mandatory Bonds and Guarantees – A certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid will be required. Bid guarantees, performance bonds, and payment bonds will be required in accordance with 40 C.F.R. §31.36(h). Bonds are required to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
