Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12.6, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on SAM.gov



The RFQ number is N4215825Q0008.

The requirement: Sole Source, the Small Business Office concurs with the determination.



Requirement is issued by Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY)



Acquisition is: Sole Source

Offer issue due: February 12, 2025 12:00PM, EST



The contractor is required to sign this document and return copies to the issuing office. Contractor agrees to furnish and deliver all items set forth or otherwise Identified above and on any additional sheets subject to the terms and conditions specified.



Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) requires vendors to conduct overhaul/repairs and perform operational testing on four (4) High Pressure Service Air Compressors (HPAC) onboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, CVN-69 or at the contractor facility.

Quotes must be submitted via email to Theresa Clark, Contract Specialist at theresa.m.clark36.civ@us.navy.mil and shakir.o.shinaba.civ@us.navy.mil, Wednesday, February 12, 2025 12:00PM, EST and must include the four mandatory clauses FAR 52.203-18, 52.204-24, and 52.209-11 to be considered for award.

The Government will award on the basis of price and providing equipment by POP date stated in SOW unless the contracting officer is aware of past performance information related to the low price quote/offer which indicates that quote/offer may not represent best value.



In that case, the Government reserves the right to consider the past performance of other quotes/offers, conduct a price, past performance tradeoff, and award to other than the lowest price quote/offer.

All quotes shall include price(s), FOB point, a point of contact, name and phone number, email, GSA contract number if applicable, business size, and payment terms.
