NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

REQUEST FOR BIDS

The Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry, Bureau of Parks and Lands is

conducting a competitive bid process for the Colburn House Historic Structure Repairs (BGS

Number 3779) project in Pittston, Maine. Historic rehabilitation/renovations to the Reuben

Colburn House State Historic Site, to include removal of existing masonry foundation at main

house, installation of new concrete foundations, exterior masonry, structural repairs, window

fabrication/installation, and new basement stair & bulkhead. Bids will be opened and read aloud

at the Bureau of General Services, accessible as a video conference call, at 2:00 p.m. on

December 11, 2025.
