The Department of Homeless Services (DHS) is seeking an appropriately qualified vendor to operate a substance use disorder treatment program shelter at The Kenton Hall Shelter, located at 333 Sunken Bowery in Manhattan, New York, NY 10003.  The mission of the DHS is to prevent homelessness when possible and to provide short-term, emergency shelter for individuals and families who have no other housing options available. The goals and objectives with respect to this procurement is to develop and refine its programming to engage and motivate clients and to encourage participation that will enable clients to achieve independent living outside the shelter system. The contractor would provide an emergency facilities for clients who are temporarily unable to live independently due to disability, adverse life circumstances or other crises.
