General Description
The City of Greenville will receive sealed bids for the purchase of Two (2) Single Axle
Snow & Ice Control Chassis with Front Plow, Drop in Salt Box and Spreader Capabilities.
These chassis must meet bid specifications to align with upfit bid specifications. Upfit
specifications attached (Attachment A). Awarded bidder must attend preconstruction
meeting with awarded upfit bidder and the Public Service Director.

Evaluation of Bids
The City will review submitted bids and other relevant information (cost, best value for the
municipality, subjective considerations) regarding the products to which the City wishes
to purchase. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any response for any or no
reason and to waive any minor irregularity if determined to be in the best interest of the
City of Greenville. Individuals or companies submitting paperwork as part of the bid
selection process understand, by their submission, the above evaluation process.
Selection of Bids
It is anticipated that this agreement will be considered by City Council on October 6, 2026.
The "Total Amount Proposed" cost will be valid for a minimum of 60 days after the bid
opening date and prospective vendors will be held to the price presented.

Chassis dealer to include the Michigan title fee and process the registration for
the same.
Upon completion of the mounted equipment and placement into service,
the principal contact for the City of Greenville will advise the chassis dealer of the
in-service date for the warranty start date to commence.
No sales tax may be added to the bid price, as the City of Greenville is sales tax exempt.
Any shipping costs for merchandise must be paid by the vendor, as part of the bid amount
proposed. Additionally, the final proposed total cost covers the entire scope of the project.
