I. INTRODUCTION
The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified Service Providers to
provide Electrical Repair, Preventative Maintenance, and Installation Services for various Gwinnett County Departments
on an Annual Contract. The services will include two different work elements: 1) Service Call Repairs and Installations
to be performed on a Time and Material basis (T&M). 2) An Annual Program of Preventative Maintenance (PM) to be
performed at set fees and intervals.
This bid contains two parts. Part One covers both PM services and T&M for all participating departments with the
exception of DWR. Part Two B covers T&M for DWR. DWR facilities have an industrial nature, the voltage range
spanning low, medium, and high, as well as the elevated technical, regulatory, and compliance obligations. The County
intends to award per part but reserves the right to make an award deemed in the best interest of the County.

The County maintains a diverse portfolio of facilities requiring qualified electrical services for repairs, preventative
maintenance, and installations. Generators and automatic transfer switches (ATS) are maintained through a separate
contract. This contract shall introduce a complimentary, more robust PM ATS which captures elements not addressed
in the operational assessment performed by generator Service Providers. Some level of coordination with generator
Service Provider may be necessary.
This contract will assist in meeting the high standards for safety, compliance, and service delivery the County upholds.
Work performed under this contract shall be in compliance with all applicable regulations including but not limited to:

required for maintenance, repair, and emergency response for switchgear, switchboards, motor control centers, and
associated electrical distribution equipment twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week.

daily from the time the Service Provider's personnel arrives at a service location until the personnel leaves the site. Travel
