OTHER : NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PUBLIC COMMENT-Temporary Assistance (TA)/ Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Employment Plan

The County of Westchester (the “County”), acting by and through its Department of Social Services (the “Department,” or “District”), seeks Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (“OTDA”) approval for the District’s employment services plan. The plan must include a description of how the District provides education, work, training, and support services for all TA and SNAP applicants and recipients, along with other information required by OTDA. The District requests public comment on the TA and SNAP Employment Plan from all interested individuals and organizations. The purpose of this notice is to allow 30 days for public comment running concurrently with submission of draft plan to OTDA.

Public Comment is open for 30 days. Comments will only be accepted electronically via email to: axw1@westchestercountyny.gov until December 7, 2025.
