REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: CLEANING AND TELEVISING INSPECTION DOCUMENTATION SERVICES

The Village of Sussex is requesting proposals for Cleaning and Televising Inspection Documentation Services in advance of its 2027 Road Program Project.

If you are interested in submitting a proposal, please provide costs per lineal foot for the cleaning and televising rates for the various diameters of sanitary sewer and for the various diameters of storm sewer work separately to Jeff Klamik, Village Engineer, by 12:00 PM on Friday, January 16, 2026.  Please also provide an estimate of the cost breakdown for Cleaning and Televising Inspection Documentation Services for the project based on the scoping information provided below, system maps, and the attached Specification for TV Inspection of Pipelines. The final televising documentation reports and videos of all the sanitary and storm sewer must be submitted to the Village by 12:00 PM on Friday, July 10, 2026.
Copies of the proposed locations for cleaning and televising of the sanitary and storm sewer system maps are shown in the attachments:

• Ten sheets of the sanitary sewer system maps for the neighborhoods.
• Eight sheets of the storm sewer system maps for the neighborhoods.

The project is currently in the design phase.  The design concept for the areas of concern consists of possible repaving, resurfacing, patching, and replacement of sidewalks, curb and gutter pavements, including repairs and/or replacement of public utilities.

The Village of Sussex 2027 Road Program project will consist of work on the roads shown on the attached overall concept plan maps (Seven sheets).

• The 2027 Road Program project is predominately located north of the Corporate Center and north of the Village of Lisbon limits, south of the Union Pacific railroad tracks, east of STH 164, and west of Maple Avenue within the Bowling Green Estates, Sussex Estates, Crestview, Stone Ridge Estates, Eagles Ridge, and Sussex Preserve Subdivisions.  This area of work consists of approximately 11.1 miles of road.
• Streets bordering these Subdivisions that are not included are:  STH 164, CTH VV (Main Street), Maple Avenue, and N Corporate Cir.
• Private roads bordering the Sussex Preserve Subdivision that are not included are:  N Sycamore Cir, S Sycamore Cir, Cedar Ln, Birchwood Ln, and Aspen Way.

• Traffic control as per M.U.T.C.D. Standards.
• Underground pipeline cleaning and quality television inspection and documentation.
• Review and generate quality televising documentation reports.
• Restoration of any disturbed areas.
• Comply with the requirements in the attached Specification for TV Inspection of Pipelines.
