RESPONSES TO RFIS RECEIVED:
does VA prefer a single bulk return container, or individual return labels per pack?
Will VA consolidate the used packs for one pickup, or will they ship in batches?
Note: used lithium-ion packs ship as DOT-regulated material (UN3480 / UN3481). Rather than supply a bare label, we would provide a DOT-approved, prepaid mail-back container with the return label, packaging, instructions, and a Certificate of Recycling included. Please confirm that satisfies the requirement.
Answer: The VA prefers shipping versus pickup. VA prefers a single shipment that is DOT-approved, prepaid mail-back container with the return label, packaging, instructions, and a Certificate of Recycling included.
