RFQ#FPC-26-12 UAA ART 100U3 ATS Replacement

Electronically submitted quotes will be received from qualified, responsible firms for furnishing all labor, material, plant and equipment to accomplish the Work described below in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in this Request for Quote.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held July 16, 2026 at 10:00 AM, on site, at the UAA Fine Arts Building located at 3700 Alumni Drive Anchorage, Alaska 99508.

The work consists of: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to replace the existing automatic transfer switch (ATS) serving the facility’s emergency power system, including removal, installation, reconnection, and associated work as described in the contract documents; refer to design documents labeled “UAA ATS Replacement – 100% Elec 11x17 2026-05-07”.

Specified Dates are as follows:
Pre-Bid Conference: July 16, 2026 10:00AM
Alternate Brand Request: July 16, 2026 2:00PM
Questions Due: July 17, 2026 2:00PM
Quotes Due: July 23, 2026 2:00PM

Should your quote be accepted, work is to start upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and be diligently prosecuted to completion by February 26, 2027

Quote security is required to be submitted with each quote in accordance with the Instructions.  State law requires a quote or offer to be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible "Alaska Bidder" after bidder’s preferences and Alaska Products Preferences have been applied.  Further instructions are contained within the Instructions section.

Payment & Performance Bonds are required for all construction projects over $100,000.
