Description
Notice is hereby given that the Ministry of Agriculture and Food is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to BCCA Program Delivery Inc. (the “Supplier”).
Over the last 10 years, BC’s beef sector has been impacted by many events, including significant natural disasters, market disruptions, cattle price fluctuations, increased input costs and an aging demographic. The project aims to update the study, “Costs and Returns of Ranching Businesses in Various Areas of British Columbia – 2013” through review and revision of regional ranch profiles to establish relevant and current agri-business information. The study update will provide current baseline information on a regional basis that will assist ranchers in benchmarking and making more informed operational management decisions to support the financial health of their operations. In addition, the updated information will provide baseline data for future economic analysis work.
