Description

Deschutes County will receive sealed bids for Construction Services as described within this Invitation to Bid (ITB). The purpose of this ITB is to select one general contractor for construction of improvements at the Deschutes County South County Services Building located at 51340 US-97 in La Pine, OR. Project scope generally includes a renovation of approximately 3,055 sf to provide new office spaces, a new restroom, a new breakroom, and new windows in select spaces. See Attachment A for a detailed project description
and schedule.

Pre-Bid Site Visit Information

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held as listed on the Bid Schedule. The  purpose of the pre-bid meeting is to discuss the County’s expectations, to perform a walkthrough of the existing conditions, and to answer questions. Proof of attendance at the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting shall be determined by the presence of a signature of the Bidder’s representative on the sign-in sheet at the meeting. Failure to attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting and sign the attendance roster shall result in rejection of the Bid.

The pre-bid meeting is mandatory for general contractors submitting a bid and is not mandatory for subcontractors.

Additional non-mandatory site visits may be scheduled on a date and time to be determined for firms that attend the mandatory meeting who wish to further investigate/review existing conditions.
