Description
Parks Canada Agency requires a Contractor to provide equipment, materials and labor to demolish two 3-bedroom single story structures constructed in 1948 located on Parks Canada Agency properties at 409 Squirrel Street and 413 Squirrel Street within the Town of Banff. The Project scope includes:
• Hazardous material abatement of various instances of lead paint and Asbestos-Containing materials (ACM’s) including disposal at appropriate waste facility(ies).
• Coordination and disconnection of all utilities including electric, gas, sewer, water, communications.
• Mechanical removal of all structures on site, including concrete foundations.
• All salvageable, non-combustible and non-hazardous materials will be removed, reused and recycled to the greatest extent possible.
• Installation and maintenance of construction fencing.
TWO STAGE SELECTION PROCESS
This posting is the Stage Two of a two-stage solicitation process: the first stage was to evaluate the qualifications of all interested suppliers. The second stage (Stage Two) is to invite the qualified suppliers to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings.
Only qualified suppliers have been invited to bid.
Potential and interested sub-contractors are invited to add their company’s name under the section “Partner with another business”.
The estimated contract period will be 2 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/11/27.
