The Town of Weymouth invites qualified vendors to submit sealed bids for the Annual 3 rd of July Fireworks Display at Wessagusset Beach, located in Weymouth, MA, under the direction of the Chief Procurement Officer, per the Scope of Work contained in the IFB.
The Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be available after 8:30AM on Monday, May 11, 2026 by request electronically at procurement@weymouth.ma.us .
Bidders shall submit SEALED BIDS. The Bids must be signed and placed in a SEALED envelope marked with the Bidder’s name, Date of Opening, and labeled “TOWN OF WEYMOUTH ANNUAL 3 RD OF JULY FIREWORKS DISPLAY AT WESSAGUSSET BEACH”. The SEALED BIDS must comply with all minimum requirements set forth in this IFB in order to be considered responsive.
Sealed bids from interested bidders will be received and registered at the Procurement Office located at Weymouth Town Hall Annex, 111 Middle Street, Weymouth, MA 02189 until 11:00AM on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 and will be publicly opened and read in the conference room located at the Weymouth Town Hall Annex, 111 Middle Street, Weymouth, MA 02189.
All questions and requests for clarifications must be received in writing by 3:00PM on Monday, May 18, 2026 . All answers will be in the form of an addendum and sent to registered Bidders by 3:00PM on Friday, May 22, 2026 . All questions are to be sent to procurement@weymouth.ma.us .
The Chief Procurement Officer in conjunction with the Mayor’s Office will make award of the contract. The Town reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion, to reject any and all bids, to waive any minor informality in the bids, and accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
