HURON CHARTER TOWNSHIP

Huron Charter Township is accepting proposals for the
HVA Municipal Parking Lot Improvement
in Huron Charter Township, Wayne County, Michigan
The proposed project includes three (3) contract books. First is the paving contract that includes removing existing
gravel, concrete, and asphalt in the existing HVA Municipal Parking lot, reshaping approximately 1300 SYD and
installing 174 feet of 12-inch RCP storm sewer and three (3) storm structures. Paving the parking lot with estimated
300 Tons of 4-inch HMA pavement over 8-inch of 21AA crushed limestone base (CIP). The 2nd contract book is for
new landscaping that includes planting trees, shrubs and perennial, 1600 SFT of 4-inch topsoil and shredded
hardwood bark, 1500 SFT of cedar mulch, hydro seed and mulch, 625 SFT of brick paver, 60 linear feet of decorative
wall, new sign wall and frame and all electrical component needed to power the sign. The third contract includes
the installation of 155 linear feet of 6 feet tall privacy fence. The anticipated start construction date of this
project is June 29, 2026, (weather permitting) and substantially completed by September 01, 2026, and
final completion by September 15, 2026.

Bidders must deposit, with their bid, surety in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond, in the
sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal. The OWNER reserves the right to waive any
information or to reject any and/or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bid within 90 days after the
date of bid opened.
