RFQ 2024-CCF: Ward School Renovation Architect and Engineering Services

INVITATION TO SUBMIT STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS
HTCG is seeking statements of qualifications for architectural and engineering services to assist with the design, engineering, and construction administration. The funded project includes the renovation of the Historic Ward School Renovation to create space for digital access, telehealth rooms, large meeting space, and private offices. The two-story building is listed on the Historic registry and any required preservation will need to be addressed.  This project is funded by Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development’s (TNECD) Connected Community Facilities Grant.

HTCG and the engineer will enter into an agreement which shall detail the scope of services and the compensation for said services. The services to be provided will include, but not be limited to:

• Collaborate with various stakeholders involved in the project, including clients, government authorities, board members, contractors, and other consultants.
• Create construction plans and specifications that align with the vision of HTCG
• Prepare the construction bid package in conformance with applicable state and federal requirements and supervise the bid advertising, tabulation, award process, and issuing the notice to proceed.
• Assist implementing the construction project and quality assurance and control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide reproducible plan drawings to the County upon project completion.
• Provide a project manager to oversee the onsite needs of the project.

These services shall be carried out in accordance with the grant program schedule and requirements established by TNECD.
