Lewisville Independent School District, (LISD or DISTRICT) is accepting supplemental proposals for a commission-based Snack Vending Machine and Related Services Agreement, beginning immediately upon approval of Lewisville ISD’s Board of Trustees, for the 2025-2026 school year. The products involved include food and snack items that meet the State and Federal mandates for Smart Snack compliance. If items are to be sold during the instructional day, items must meet Smart Snack compliance regulations. If items are not going to be sold during the instructional day (recognized as 30 minutes after the final class period concludes to 11:59 p.m.), items are not required to be Smart Snack compliant. Commission-based financial support, in an amount necessary to achieve District education goals, is desired. Vendors shall submit the financial support information offered in their proposals for each District location served.
This agreement would not include the provision of any beverages, as Lewisville ISD has an Exclusive Beverage Agreement with a single provider.
All interested vendors, including sole source providers, are encouraged to respond to this request for proposal in its entirety and should submit all required bid attachments regardless of sole source status to be considered.
Missing or incomplete information will have a negative impact on vendor evaluations.
RFP #2562(C)-18 shall be awarded at District discretion, to multiple Proposers supplying comparable products or services, also known as a multiple award schedule, or award the Contract to a single Proposer. The District's decision to make multiple awards or a single award will be based upon the District's sole discretion regarding the type of products and/or services that provides best value to The District.
This bid will run coterminous with the original RFP term. Additional Vendors may be awarded in subsequent years for terms that are coterminous with this agreement. Additional Vendors will be subject to all of the terms, conditions, scope of work, and all other relevant factors in this RFP.
Second and Final Term: April 2026 - August 2028

2 Scope of Work
Lewisville Independent School District is accepting supplemental proposals and pricing for RFP #2562(C)-18 Snack
Vending Machines and Related Services.

3 LISD Demographics
Lewisville ISD encompasses 127-square miles and serves 48,000 students from thirteen municipalities including
Argyle, Carrollton, Coppell, Copper Canyon, Double Oak, Flower Mound, Frisco, Grapevine, Highland Village,
Hebron, Lewisville, Plano and The Colony.
4 Length of Contract
This bid will run coterminous with the original RFP term. Additional Vendors may be awarded in subsequent years
for terms that are coterminous with this agreement. Additional Vendors will be subject to all of the terms, conditions,
scope of work, and all other relevant factors in this RFP.

5 Introduction

6 Communications Statement
Communications: Contact between vendors and LISD personnel during the proposal process or evaluation process
is prohibited. Any attempt by vendors during the proposal process to contact LISD personnel may result in
disqualification. All communication shall go through the Procurement Department during this competitive process.
All questions received and the corresponding answers will be distributed to all bidders. No verbal responses will be
provided. The deadline for questions about this proposal is stated in the Bid Activities and the District will not
respond to questions after this time and date. Response to questions will be posted in the form of an addendum to
this request for proposal. The Vendors will be responsible for checking the website for any posted addenda.
