The purpose of this Amendment is to provide the following Question + Answer information:

-Question: Can you please confirm if this NOVO unit will be used for Security or for NDT purposes?

-Answer: The Novo system will be used by the EOD Craftsman course at Sheppard AFB. The system will not be used for real world operations.

**Amendment 1 - (8/27/26)**

The purpose of this Amendment is to extend the RFQ submission date from 10:00AM CST on Friday, 28 Aug 2026 to 10:00AM CST on Tuesday, 01 Sept 2026 due to delay in getting submitted question answered.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in RFO Part 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; excluding amendments. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

Solicitation number FA302026Q0108 is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) to provide 3 (ea.) NOVO Rover III X-Ray System with delivery to Sheppard AFB, *This is a BRAND NAME ONLY (NOVO DR) requirement; please refer to Attachment 2 - Product Specs and Salient Characteristics for requirement specifications and Attachment 3 - Brand Name Justification Letter*

The 82d Contracting Squadron of Sheppard AFB, Texas anticipates awarding a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.

This requirement is set aside for small business concerns. The applicable NAICS code is 334517, and the small business size standard is 1200 employees.

Contractors are strongly cautioned to check this notice periodically for amendments.
