Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New England District is issuing a Solicitation Notice for Electrical Service Installation, Northfield Dam, Thomaston, CT.
THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnish all labor, equipment, and materials to complete an electrical service installation for a restroom trailer pad at Northfield Brook Lake:

Install new subsurface electrical service from existing utility pole to existing utility box and to asphalt restroom trailer pad.

Install watertight locking box on a metal post above ground at the asphalt pad.

The watertight locking box will include two (2) new thirty-amp (30a) outlets, one (1) fifteen-amp (15a) outlet. Ensure they are protected from elements and potential floodwaters.

Install new breaker in the existing utility box.

Work includes excavation, trenching, installation of utility conduits, backfill, and finish work and asphalt repair.

Includes installation of three-inch (3”) schedule 80 PVC conduits and outlets rated for exterior use.

Contractor will loam and hydroseed all disturbed areas.

All work will be performed in a timely manner to the satisfaction of the Technical Point of Contact and in accordance with the Statement of Work.
The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. For additional information on construction contracts awarded to small businesses please visit: Partnering With Us (army.mil).
This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 238210 with a Small Business Size Standard of $19 Million.
ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
