| Description: |
In June 2022, the County of Los Angeles Board of Supervisors (Board) established the Los Angeles County Land Bank Pilot to support affordable housing preservation and production, especially in communities across LA County where existing and planned infrastructure investment is increasing the risk of displacement. Call for Parcels and Developers To assist in identifying quality sites for affordable housing across LA County, the County is issuing a public call for individuals, community-based organizations, religious institutions, developers, and property owners to submit parcels. Anyone can submit a parcel via the Land Bank website. Organizations can also submit information to join the Community Development Partner list. If the County acquires a parcel submitted by a confirmed Community Development Partner, the Community Development Partner will be notified when the site-specific Requests for Proposals (RFPs) are released, so they have an opportunity to form a qualified team. Members of the public can go to the LA County Land Bank website to learn more about the pilot and what types of parcels the County is looking for, explore a map with publicly available data sets being used in the parcel assessment process, submit parcels for consideration, and sign up for future updates.
