Concrete Stair Support Repairs at Orchard and Lincoln Stations

RTD would like to perform structural repairs at Orchard and Lincoln Stations to address severe concrete deterioration primarily on the precast stair supports serving the pedestrian bridges. The deterioration has progressed significantly and may lead to a closure of the stairs if not addressed quickly. The Orchard location has issues that need to be addressed right away. Lincoln location can wait until March time frame. The locations of the stations are at 5652 Greenwood Plaza Blvd, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 and 9370 Station St, Lone Tree, CO 80124.

RTD will award one single purchase order from this RFQ.

The repair work includes the removal of deteriorated concrete and replacement using shallow, partial
depth, and full depth repair techniques of the precast slab and supporting cast-in-place concrete
members. Crack and joint repair will also be performed along with other retrofit techniques to address
structural deficiencies. Surface patching will be needed and partial to full depth repairs and Orchard Pier Cap is anticipated.
