Amendment No. A0001 – Update 2/3/2025
This amendment provides updates to the Smart Sensor solicitation, including responses to vendor inquiries and additional clarifications based on the latest Q&A. Vendors should carefully review this amendment, as it may affect their quote submissions.
A Q&A document has been included to address inquiries received as of 10:00 am ET, Wednesday, January 29, 2025. This document offers clarifications on technical requirements, including sensor capabilities, integration specifications, and performance expectations. Additionally, a Pricing Sheet has been uploaded to ensure consistent pricing and facilitate accurate, competitive quotes.
The deadline for submitting Quotation (Price and Technical Quote) has been extended to 12:00pm ET, Friday, February 21, 2025. Vendors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment in their quote submissions.
Description/Synopsis:
The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), Office of Facilities Management (OFM) is seeking quotations from qualified contractors to establish a multiple-award Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Smart Sensor Installation and Support Services across GSA-managed facilities. This procurement is conducted under full and open competition in accordance with FAR 13.303, which governs the establishment of BPAs outside the Federal Supply Schedule, and FAR 6.102(d)(3), which outlines competitive procedures for open-market acquisitions.
The Smart Sensor BPA will support GSA’s mission to enhance facility operations by implementing advanced smart sensor technology. These sensors will collect real-time occupancy and environmental data to improve operational efficiency, support public health initiatives, and optimize space utilization within over 180 million square feet of federal building space.
The BPA will provide a streamlined approach to acquiring smart sensor solutions, including occupancy, air quality, water, energy, and other environmental monitoring technologies, as detailed in the Statement of Work (SOW).
