C25715005 - Santa Cruz District, Districtwide Chemical Toilet Contract

We hereby request that your company submit a Formal Bid Package for this project as more fully described in the attached solicitation.

Bid Document Packages will be accepted by mail or hand delivery at 303 Big Trees Park Road, Felton CA 95018 up until September 30, 2025 at 2:00pm Pacific Time. The Contractor will provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to maintain handicapped and regular portable chemical toilet units owned by State Parks as per Exhibit A, Attachment 1, Chemical Toilet Service Specifications at Big Basin Redwoods State Park, Manresa State Beach, New Brighton State Beach, Sunset State Beach, Twin Lakes State Beach, and Wilder Ranch State Park. Servicing to occur per the bid sheets. Contractor will also provide Hand Wash Stations as per Exhibit A, Attachment 1: Non potable fresh water, hands free foot water pump, grey water holding tank, OSHA approved, liquid soap dispenser, paper towel dispenser. Services performed each trip shall consist of (a) pumping the grey water tank, (b) thorough washing and cleaning of the unit, (c) replenishing the water supply tank, (d) replenishing soap dispenser and replenishing paper supplies. Bids will be opened publicly. No Chemical Toilet rental will be needed. The State owns all the chemical toilet units and holding tanks to be serviced.
NO BID WILL BE CONSIDERED UNLESS IT IS PREPARED AND SUBMITTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONDITIONS SET FORTH IN THE INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS FOR C25715005. CHEMICAL TOILET SERVICES.   It is the responsibility of the Bidder to review the solicitation in its entirety to ensure that there is a complete understanding of the performance expectations and contracting conditions.  Submittal of a Bid indicates that Bidder understands, acknowledges and accepts the performance expectations and contracting conditions contained within the contracting documentation. Bids must be submitted in hard copy and may be mailed or hand delivered to 303 Big Trees Parks Road, Felton CA 95018 and must be received by 2:00pm on the day of the bid opening. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure that the bid arrives on time.

Examination of Site: Prospective Bidders are responsible for inspecting the sites before submitting a bid.

DVBE REQUIREMENTS:  WAIVED, but Incentive Still Applies

SMALL BUSINESS INCENTIVE:  YES
ESTIMATED VALUE: $200,000.00

The Legal Term and Performance Period of this contract, if awarded, shall commence on FEBRUARY 6, 2026 OR UPON DGS-OLS APPROVAL, WHICHEVER IS LATER and terminate approximately FEBRUARY 5, 2028 OR TWO YEARS FROM APPROVAL, WHICHEVER IS LATER.

Please note that the winning bidder will be required to provide proof of Pollution Liability insurance in addition to the standard coverages. Failure to do so in a timely manner will be grounds for contract termination.
