Description
Description
The State of Iowa seeks to restore or replace the decorative panels located at the WWII Memorial Plaza on the Capitol Complex. The panels are stainless steel and have etched art depicting historic events of the time that have faded with age and extreme weather conditions. The Agency wishes to choose the best option to restore the appearance of the monument back to its original condition. These would include but are not limited to:
1) Restore/re-etch the graphics depicted on the existing panels.
2) Offer a panel replacement material option that can withstand extreme conditions and will allow adherence of printed/etched graphics.
3) Offer an alternate media option that could be installed in place of the existing panels.
