IFB #6846 Intercom Installation- Phase 2B

Guilford County Schools seeks qualified low-voltage integration firms for the installation and

commissioning of new IP Intercom Systems across nine (9) school facilities. The primary

objective is to modernize campus communication using a Valcom IP-based solution.

Sealed bids will be received by the Guilford County School System until 2:00 PM on Thursday,

September 10, 2026 at 714 Green Valley Road, Greensboro, NC 27408, Room 2A, and

immediately thereafter publicly opened and read aloud. Please allow sufficient time for this, as

late bids will not be accepted.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 @ 8:30am in the Media

Center at Western Guilford Middle School 401 College Road, Greensboro, NC. Site visits will be

held immediately after and continue daily through August 20, 2026. Please see the bid

document for the visit schedule.

The Guilford County Board of Education awards public contracts without regard to race, religion,

General Statutes, Section 168A-3. GCS reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids

presented, and the right to waive any informalities or irregularities.
