Description:
Dorchester County is seeking bids from qualified firms to remove, cut, reposition, secure, process, and/or otherwise clear woody debris and natural obstructions along a portion of the Ashley River Scenic Blue Trail. This project is being funded in whole or part by the Recreational Trails Program administered by the SC Department of Parks, Recreation, & Tourism and must comply to federal & state funding requirements and contract provisions.

No pre-bid meeting will be conducted. Bidders are responsible for becoming familiar with the project area and conditions affecting performance of the work prior to submitting a bid. Bidders are encouraged to independently inspect the accessible portions of the project area, including by water where appropriate and lawful, to examine conditions, access limitations, tides, debris, equipment requirements, and all other factors affecting the cost or performance of the work.
