Request for Statement of Qualifications
Local Municipal Engineering Services
The City of Sunnyside is inviting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from firms interested in providing professional municipal engineering and aviation services during the 2026-2028 calendar years. The City will be selecting a consulting engineering firm for local municipal engineering services for water, sewer, drainage, street, municipal planning, traffic studies, capital facilities plans, rate studies, technical reports, cost estimates, environmental reviews, funding application, surveys, plans, specifications to support for City staff. Design, plans, specifications, and construction services will be for projects funded by City of Sunnyside local funds
SOQs shall be limited to thirty (30) pages excluding a one-page cover letter and front and back covers (if used). Selection criteria will include key personnel; firm experience with engineering and planning plans, specifications, and cost estimates, and environmental/permitting processes; familiarity with Sunnyside and/or similar municipalities; and past performance/references. The most highly rated firm will be selected for negotiation of a professional services contract. Interviews may be held at the City’s discretion.
