Description
The transfer building is used to temporarily house organic material, either source separated organics from households, (S.S.O) or leaf and yard material brought in from municipalities or residents. The material is then push loaded into 53 foot walking trailers and transported to various composting facilities. During our 2024 season a large crack was noted, running from the south east corner of the concrete slab floor and terminating roughly in the center of the slab.
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following:
.1 Structural repair of slab-on-grade concrete deterioration where directed by Consultant.
.2 Infill installation to repair subgrade material and voids.
The estimated contract period will be 3 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/04/07.
