NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Kingsburg, 1401
Draper Street, Kingsburg, CA 93631 until 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at which time
they will be publicly opened and read at said office, for construction in accordance with the
specifications therefore, to which special reference is made as follows:
18TH AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION: EARL STREET TO SIERRA STREET

The work to be done consists, in general, of pavement rehabilitation along 18th Avenue from
Earl Street to Sierra Street, including asphalt concrete grinding and overlay, installation of
pavement fabric, reconstruction of curb ramps, curb and gutter, sidewalk, utility adjustments,
pavement delineation and striping, replacement of existing drainage inlets, and replacement of
existing traffic signal loop detectors as needed.
Plans and specifications applying to this project may be reviewed and purchased at: Peters
Engineering Group, 862 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612 at the non-refundable price of
$40.00 per set. Checks shall be made payable to the City of Kingsburg. Plans and specifications
may also be viewed on the website of the Central California Builders Exchange and the Tulare /
Kings County Builders Exchange or downloaded from the City’s website. Bidders are responsible
for monitoring the City’s website for any project addendums and submitting the acknowledged
addendums with the bid documents. Any bid proposal submitted without all addendums
acknowledged will be deemed non-responsive.

specifications are not binding. Any explanation, interpretation or clarification of plans and
specifications will be in the form of a written addendum to the plans and specifications posted
to the City’s website.
Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the City of Kingsburg and labeled with the
name of the bidder, the name of the project and the statement "Do Not Open Until the Time of Bid
Opening."
