NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT
The 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron (1 SOCONS)/PKA intends to award a Sole Source contract to
Monaco Enterprises, Inc.,
14820 E Sprague Ave,
Spokane, WA, 99216-2191,
This acquisition is for installation of the Monaco D-21 system with Tone Alert to the existing D-21 Fire Alarm Monitoring System. Please see the attached Sole Source Justification for your reference.
1 SOCONS/PKA will use Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition.
The appropriate authority for single source solicitations is as follows
FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting Competition, which states that contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization).
The proposed contract action is Sole Source only.
In accordance with FAR 5.102, the required justification document is attached.
This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotation.
No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. However, Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice by 2:00 PM C.S.T, 26 November 2024. via email to peyton.cole@us.af.mil and dorian.mija@us.af.mil.
A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the closed date specified herein will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
