Online Subscription-based Citation Indexing Service
Description:

The City College of New York ("CCNY" and/or "College") of the City University of New York ("CUNY") and/or "University") is seeking a Contractor through an Invitation for Bids ("IFB") to purchase a subscription to an Online Subscription-based Citation Indexing Service to support the College's STEM research and education.

Bidders must have been in the academic science citation business for a minimum of three (3) years as of the Submission Due Date. Bidders shall have completed within the past two (2) years at least three (3) contracts that are of similar size, scope, complexity, and nature as required by this IFB.

The Online Citation Indexing Database must meet specified functional requirements described and set forth in the solicitation attached to this advertisement.

Bidders who demonstrate compliance with the requirements contained in the IFB and are willing to provide a three-year contract from the onset are invited to provide a submission to this advertisement.

Vendor Requirements:

To be considered for award, prospective vendors must be authorized by a Citation Index Database provider to sell/resell access; and provide customer service and technical support to the products as set forth in the Product Requirements above to public educational institutions. Vendors are required to submit by this solicitation’s due date: 1) documentation verifying that you can meet the product requirements set forth above; 2) a letter from an index database verifying your company’s authority to sell / resell / provide these products and services to public educational institutions; and 3) documentation from the index database verifying your company’s authority to negotiate potential agreements on their behalf. All documents are subject to review and verification by CUNY.

Additional information:

No subcontracting is allowed.

Any purchase that results from this advertisement shall be governed by the terms and conditions of this advertisement (including without limitation, any attached specifications and any other terms and conditions attached hereto or incorporated herein by reference) and by the University's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions and Appendix A, Standard Clauses for New York State Contracts which are incorporated herein by reference with the same effect as it is written.

1. “Offeror’s Affirmation of Understanding of an Agreement pursuant to State Finance Law § 139- j (3) and § 139-j (6) (b)”; and

2. “Offeror’s Disclosure of Prior Non-Responsibility Determinations and Certification of Compliance with State Finance Law §139-j and §139-k”
