Synopsis:
|
|
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan, Ministry of Social Services, Child and Family Programs to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the development and operation of a preventative Community Respite Program for families residing in Regina and surrounding area. The program will provide a safe, short term, emergency placement for male and/or female children under age 12 whose parent(s) or caregiver(s) are in crisis.
The respite program aligns with the GOS’s mandate of ‘keeping children safe from abuse and neglect’ and will support the GOS’s goal of; “Individuals, families and children in need are safe and supported”. Community respite will provide intensive services that will minimize risk, support family cohesion and stability, reduce caregiver burnout, and increase positive outcomes for child
