Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Expansion – 7 new teams

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) takes a holistic approach to treating serious mental illness. ACT serves people who haven't had success in the traditional mental health treatment and rehabilitation system.

Forensic ACT builds on the ACT model. Adjustments are made based on involvement in the criminal justice system.

The Office of Mental Health is expanding the Forensic ACT program to better meet the needs of this population. Funds are available for the development of seven teams.
