Invitation to Bid

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Social Circle, Georgia, for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for asphalt resurfacing of East Hightower Trail: Cherokee Road to Bridge (0.25 miles), West Hightower Trail: Cherokee Road to Roundabout (0.45 miles), Clark Street: West Hightower Trail to Parking Lot (0.09 miles). The City of Social Circle is located in Walton County.

Bids will be received on behalf of Social Circle no later than 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 15, 2025. Bid Packet can be requested by emailing Natalie Pifer at 861np@ppi.us. Bids will be received by email submission only to Natalie Pifer at 861np@ppi.us. Any bids received after said time and date of bid opening will not be considered by Social Circle. Bids will be evaluated by Social Circle and presented for approval by the council. All questions should be emailed to Natalie Pifer at 861np@ppi.us, by May 8, 2025 by 2:00 P.M.

A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid shall be required. In lieu of a bid bond, a cashier's check, cash or an irrevocable letter of credit may be accepted. Both a performance and payment bond will be required in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Proof of workers compensation and liability insurance will be required with the City of Social Circle named as additional insured.

Each bid must be submitted by email to Natalie Pifer at 861np@ppi.us Subject line of email must read "Bid for 2025 Street Resurfacing Project¿.

CONTRACTORS and SUBCONTRACTORS bidding on this Project will be required to comply with all Federal, State, and local laws.

The City of Social Circle reserves the rights to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids, to evaluate Bids, and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the City of Social Circle.

Bidders must submit with the bid a Contractor Affidavit verifying compliance with the Federal Work
