Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR Subpart 13; simplified acquisition procedures apply. VA will conduct the procurement according to a combination of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.

The solicitation number is 36C25625Q0191-1 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).
The proposed contract action will be seeking a means to have legend pharmaceutical, and DEA controlled substances removed from facilities for destruction. These pharmaceuticals will be either expired or in a condition that is not suitable for human consumption for which the Government intends to solicit competitive quotes. The contractor will provide destruction of expired pharmaceuticals for a base plus 4 Option years (4) Option Years (OY). Interested persons may submit quotes, and all eligible quotes must be received prior to the response date listed on FBO to be considered by the Government. This solicitation is unrestricted.

The NAICS code is 562998 (Miscellaneous Waste Management Services) and the size standard is $16.5 Million.

This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-04 (01/30/2022). Only emailed requests received directly from the requester will be accepted.
RESPONSES ARE DUE, Friday, December 6, 2024, by 3:00 p.m. Central Time (CT). Quotes are due electronically to Kimberly.anderson6@va.gov no later than the response date listed on FBO. Only electronic quotes will be considered.
Phone calls will not be accepted, all question and or concerns must be submitted via email to
