Description


Separate, sealed bids will be received for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the construction of the aforementioned project.
Bids will be received by the City of Villa Rica, Villa Rica Georgia, herein referred to as "Owner" and Digital copies of the Bid Documents will be provided at no charge. For additional information, contact Mark Teal at 770-378-2408 or TealE2.Consulting@gmail.com (email is preferred). Sealed Bids must be received by 11:00 AM (local time) at the City of Villa Rica, Attn: Purchasing Director, 571 Bankhead Hwy, Villa Rica, GA 30180 on April 28, 2025. After such time on the same day, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the City Hall Conference Room, 571 W. Bankhead Hwy, Villa Rica, Georgia. Bids received after the designated time will not be considered. Bids shall be clearly marked and sealed.
The Major Items of Work Consist of:
1. Traffic Control
2. Recycled Asphalt Concrete 19MM, 140 Tons
3. Recycled Asphalt Concrete 9.5MM, 460 Tons
4. Bituminous Tack: 1,080 Gallons
5. Milling at variable depths 0¿ to 4¿: 5,400 square yards
The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in the best interest of the City.
Work is as specified in the Bid Document and is to be done in accordance with current GDOT standards and specifications.
No bid will be accepted from a bidder who has not received a set of bid documents from the above-mentioned office. No bid will be accepted from a bidder who does not meet the pre-qualification requirements outlined in paragraph B.01.
Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond prepared on an accepted form, duly executed by the bidder, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid.
Owner reserves the right to waive any formality or informality or to reject any or all bids, to evaluate bids, and to accept any bid which in its opinion may be for the best interest of Owner.
