Sealed Bids for Sherwood North Wastewater Improvements – Owner Supplied Grit Removal Equipment Installation will be received by the City of Sherwood, at the Bill Harmon Recreation Center, 51 Shelby Road, Sherwood, AR 72120 until 2:00PM Central Standard Time, February 20, 2025, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project generally consists of demo of existing grit removal equipment and classifier and installation of new grit removal equipment and classifier.
Bids may be delivered by any means available except electronically (fax or email). Fax/email bids will not be considered. It is the bidder’s responsibility to see that their bid is at the designated location by the time stated above. Those not received by that time will not be considered. The City of Sherwood reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any formalities and to, in the opinion of the City of Sherwood, accept the bid that is in the City of Sherwood’s best interest.
A pre-bid conference will not be held.
Per request, on-site inspection of existing equipment can be scheduled by contacting the City of Sherwood at 501.835.3288.
Bids will be received for a single Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated on the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is:

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The Contract Documents may also be examined at the following:

Electronic copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office online at

upon payment of $25.00 for each set. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
