SEALED BIDSaddressed to the Mayor and Council of the City of Huntsville, Texas, will be received at the office of the City Secretary, City Hall, 1220 11

Street, Huntsville, Texas 77340, until 2:00 p.m. Central Time, Tuesday, September 2, 2025 for the purpose of furnishing all supervision, materials, equipment and the performing of all work required in the construction of the Mance Park Middle School Waterline Rehabilitation and FY 2023/2024 Miscellaneous Waterlines (Old Colony Road, Utility Road, Jeffro Street and Rhodes Drive),
Project #24-10-09, Bid #25-31 that includes:

1. Waterline pipe replacement
2. Pavement removal and replacement
3. Trench Safety SWPPP and Traffic Control
And other improvements incidental thereto, at which time and place the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud and retained for tabulation, checking and evaluation. Estimated cost of the project is in the $1.1M range.
BIDS shall be submitted in sealed envelopes upon the blank form furnished herewith. Sealed envelopes shall be marked: “Bid for Mance Park Middle School Waterline Rehabilitation and FY 2023/2024 Miscellaneous Waterlines (Old Colony Road, Utility Road, Jeffro Street, and Rhodes Drive), Project 24-10-09, Bid #25-31. Do not open until 2:00 p.m. Central Time, Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
PRE-BID CONFERENCE – A pre-bid conference (non-mandatory) will be held at 10:00 a.m. Central Time, Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the City of Huntsville Service Center, Public Works Conference Room (2nd Floor) at 448 State Hwy.75 North, Huntsville, Texas 77320.

In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, or in the event of any informality in the bids, the Owner reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject any or all bids.
Time for beginning and completing the work shall be 180 calendar days from the date given in the “NOTICE TO PROCEED”.
